Always on the lookout for a good cause, the team at Better Than Camping are lending their support to five cyclists on a 400 mile sponsored ride from Birmingham to Aberdeen!

On August 16th 2008 John, Cory, Jordan, Simon and John will set off on their marathon 5 day challenge. Cycling up to 100 miles a day the team are hoping to raise over £1500 for Cancer Research and Acorns Children's Hospices. Following behind and to provide accomodation for the night will be our very own Rimor Katamarano 5 motorhome.

Heres a statistic for you.......

If every new visitor to this site from the start of May until August 16th sponsored the boys just 10 pence (thats right, just 10p) then that itself would surpass the £1500 target!!!

While we realise that £1500 through this site alone is somewhat unrealistic we are hoping to make a dent in the £1500 target. I am writing to say how I highly recommend the Better Than Camping service. My wife and I hired a six-berth motorhome in early February and took it for a long weekend to the lake district. We had a wonderful time and although the temperature fell to -5 degrees we were lovely and warm, the motorhome can certainly handle the cold!
